To whom it may concern.
 
I came to your establishment on Sunday 7th March for your delicious Sunday lunch and I have to say the food did not disappoint. there was a bit of a problem with our table so we had to stay in the bar area for a while. whilst in there my daughter and my niece were talking to one of your barmaids, Kaylee I believe they said she called herself and I just wanted to write to say the service was fantastic. My children were starting to get a bit annoyed because they had to wait but we understood that you were incredibly busy and we did have a large party. She stood and spoke to my daughter and my niece but did not neglect the other customers whom came to the bar and also she was very polite and professional. The lady (I did not get her name) who was sorting out my table was also very friendly and helpful and apologised for the wait for the table.

I will definitely be coming back with that kind of service.

Dear Owner/Manager,
 
Although you may expect this to be a letter of complaint, it is however one of praise for you and your staff at the thorns inn!
 
Me and my husband along with our parents attended your establishment last evening. It was the first time we had been, after hearing so much from friends we thought we'd give it a try. When we entered we were greeted very pleasantly by a young lady with reddish hair and given a table of our choice. I explained to her we had never been before and asked about the procedure. She was more than helpful and kindly explained how to pay for food and how the carvery worked. Also where any sauces or cutlery may be. At this point I could tell the atmosphere was always a lovely and welcoming one!!
We then headed up the bar to order our food. Me and my parents had a carvery and after seeing a steak on a nearby table, my husband ordered the Rib eye steak.
 
When the food arrived, my husband described it as being 'cooked to perfection' so hats off to the chef! At this point we headed up for our carvery where we were greeted by a lovely woman who explained the choice of meats. The choice of veg was astounding! We've never had such a range of veg at a carvery or enjoyed it so much! And who can complain at the price! I couldn't cook it for any less! It was truly 'bostin fittle'!
 
After our meals, the young gentleman kindly took our plates and asked us about desserts. We had already looked at the menu but we didn't think we would be able to fit in anything cake based after the amount of food! This was up until the gent showed us the display of cheesecakes and gateaux's available by the carvey. After he had talked us round and tempted our sweet tooth's, we just had to have one....each that is!! These desserts were scrumptious and definatly hit the spot!
 
I wanted to send this email because i thought it would show appreciation, which i'm sure you don't get from all your customers! We will be returning again and even maybe for breakfast on sunday morning!
